On June 6, 2014, new update data for Tomodachi Life became available. Please take a moment to download and install this update while your Nintendo 3DS family system is connected to the Internet.
Life sims typically have a core gameplay goal of self-improvement and progression, but in Tomodachi Life, that thread is virtually non-existent. Each Mii has a happiness rating, which you can attempt to boost by spoiling them with gifts, food, clothing and interior decorations, but there's no guarantee that they'll actually like your offerings. This is the answers page for tomodachi life, not for friend codes. If you want to get friend codes, I suggest you go to the 3ds board and ask for friend codes there, and you will have more luck. Jun 27, 2016 So you can pick up a New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL system and still enjoy Tomodachi Life without any issue. An important note though, New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems do not include an AC adapter for the system.

- If you purchased the digital version of Tomodachi Life, there is no need to apply the Ver. 1.1 software update.
- Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
- After downloading the update, please do not delete the update data. Update data can be viewed in the Downloadable Content area of the Data Management menu.
Complete these steps
- Perform a system update to ensure that you have the most up-to-date version.
- Scan the QR Code pattern below using a Nintendo 3DS system while connected to the Internet.
- Alternatively, you can download the update from the Nintendo 3DS HOME menu.
- Select the Tomodachi Life Update and download it. Once the download is complete, the update will automatically be applied.
- Once the update is installed, the newest version number will be displayed on the title screen.
